Anxiety and Depression - New or Old?
Do you think there were anxiety and depression diseases around say a couple hundred years ago?
Yeah, definitely there always been mental illness such as anxiety and depression but I do think that today's lifestyle contributes to the problem quite a bit.
Also babies born premature or with birth defects have a higher survival rate than they did once upon a time, and based on personal experience these children are at risk for anxiety and depression and other mental health issues later in life for multiple reasons (stress, abuse from peers/family, chemical imbalances).
