The "official" side effects of Cymbalta are nausea, constipation, decreased appetite, dizziness, dry mouth, fatigue, increased sweating, loss of strength or energy, and sleepiness.

In high blood pressure you feel hot and clammy and light headed.

Anti-depressants make me gain weight but my doctor keeps prescribing them for my anxiety disorder.
Lexapro does work almost immediately on my anxiety and sometimes I take it for a few days and I feel better and then I stop and I'm OK for a few weeks.

Anxiety is normal in the stressful world we all live in. Some individuals just get more anxious than others. This does not make a person crazy. I do believe it is possible to stay in the army with anxiety attacks depending on what your MOS or CMF is.
